Gertrude C. (Burkhart) Plouse

PLOUSE, GERTRUDE C., 76, Patton, passed away April 14, 2024.  Born July 22, 1947, in Spangler, the daughter of Wilfred and Catherine (Litzinger) Burkhart.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Francis Plouse; granddaughter, Gabby Heming; and brother, Wilfred Burkhart.  Survived by children, Sean (Melanie) Plouse, Alabama; Dan (Elaine) Plouse, Portage; Kathleen Heming (Scott Eckenrode), Carrolltown; and four grandchildren.  Also survived by siblings, Joseph (Peggy) Burkhart, St. Boniface; Mary Ann (Leonard) Morgan, Patton; Rose (Kenneth) Hobbs, Georgia; and Ronald Burkhart, Northern Cambria.  Gertrude loved being with her family, children, and grandchildren.  In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and going to yard sales.  Family and friends will be received from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
