VOPAT, ANNE, 102, Bronx, NY, native of Barnesboro, passed away March 24, 2017, at East Chest Rehabilitation Center, Bronx, NY. Born August 28, 1914, in Barnesboro, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Elick) Kovalak. Preceded in death by husband, George Vopat; brothers, John and Peter Kovalak and sisters, Mary Wisor and Helen Jorgensen. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Bell Telephone Company. No viewing or visitation at the request of the deceased. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. Fr. Andriy Kelt, officiating.
