Beverly Jean Chverchko Sunday, January 8, 1950 - Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Chverchko, Beverly Jean, 67, Indiana formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away at her residence June 28, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Born January 8, 1950 in Patton the daughter of Andrew Chverchko and Dorothy (Durbin) Chverchko-Hoover. Preceded in death by parents; step-father Charles Hoover; brothers, Andrew Jr. and Victor Chverchko and sister, Joyce Knotts. Survived by children, Michelle Skupaka and Ernest J. Legros, both of Indiana, PA; Laurie, wife of Rick Buterbaugh, Middletown, PA; Donna Legros, Clymer; and Mary, wife of Bryan Barnes, Elizabethtown, PA. Grandchildren, Amber, Alexa and Alleck Legros; Dezirae Dwyer; Adrianna, Cameron and Andrew Legros; Alex and Britaney Buterbaugh, and Brianna Barnes and great-grandchildren, Destiney and Kurtis Roland and Sebastian Legros. Sister of, Laverne (Pete) Hoover, Glendale; Carol (Alvin) Spacht, Patton; Gerald (Patricia) Chverchko, Windber and Mary Lou (Timothy) Fields, Roaring Springs. Friends and family will be received from 4-6 p.m., Monday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 Bigler Avenue, Northern Cambria, where services will be held at 6 p.m. Interment, East Mahoning Cemetery. My deepest condolences.  I hadn't seen Bev in a long time, but one of my fondest memories was being in choir together at St. George's Church.

Thank you, Theresa. In my mothers retirement, she was secretary of the Ladies of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She devoted her life to Jesus and his mother. She loved music and singing. I will keep her with me.
