KOWARDY, EVA, 96, Northern Cambria, passed away May 10, 2017, at Meadowview Estate, Ebensburg. Born July 1, 1920, in Central City, the daughter of Nufry and Fannie (Karol) Marrage. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Casimir Kowardy, who died June 29, 1997; infant sister, Catherine; brother, Mike Marrage; and sisters, Mary Sitko, Ann Glavor and Catherine Petro. Survived by children, Mel (Rhea) Kowardy, Rescue, CA; Sue (Larry) Lassak, Lilly; Joan (Kenneth) Kirsch, Freeport; and Marie (Richard) Breth, Johnstown; grandchildren, Kevin Kowardy, Rachel (Justin) Ireland, Rebecca (Jake) Hensley, Lisa (Bill) Ross, Althea (Derek) Christopher, Erin (Eric) Boothman, Rick Breth and Missy (Tony) Lute; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
