HANSEN, GERTRUDE A., 89, Northern Cambria, passed away October 1, 2017. Born September 6, 1928, in Marsteller, the daughter of Andrew Sr. and Mary (Demonic) Homady. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Millard R. "Nosey" Hansen, who died June 8, 2004; son, Ronald Hansen; brothers, John, Andrew Jr., George, Paul, Edward, Justin, Charles and Theodore Homady; and sisters, Mary Dolansky, Dorothy Polinsky and Pauline Homady. Survived by daughter, Ellen (Richard) Hoover, Northern Cambria; sons, Robert Hansen, Lancaster and Ralph (Jean) Hansen, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Christian, Lisa, Emily, Sarah, Jennifer, Robert Jr., Grant and Nolan; and great-grandchildren, Rochelle, Jeff Weakland, Matthew, Brenna, Lilly and Raelynne Shae. Also survived by sister, Leona Farino; sisters-in-law, Madeline Homady and Lenore Hansen and many nieces and nephews. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Formerly employed as a cook at Miners Hospital. Gert also enjoyed being with her family and friends and playing bingo.
