BABYAK, PETER , 85, Elmora, passed away August 14, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born June 29, 1932, in West Carroll Twp., the son of Joseph Sr. and Mary (Zadik) Babyak. Preceded in death by parents; grandsons, Paul Babyak and Jim Babyak. brothers, Basil, John, Joseph, Nick and George Babyak; sisters, Theresa Rubus, Ann Sewlyn, Helen Nazarak, Mary Risbon and Catherine Pawliske. Survived by sons, Peter (Cindy) Babyak, Johnstown and Jim (Robyn) Babyak, Elmora; and daughter, Shari Babyak (Fred Hauzie), Elmora; grandchildren, Brian, Nicholas, Jason, Peter, Eric, Walter and Tiffany; and 9 great-grandchildren. U.S. Army Veteran and member of American Legion Post 506, Carrolltown, VFW Post 7503, Spangler and VFW Post 7783, St. Benedict. Retired from Bethlehem Steel. Member of Rembrandt Club, St. Benedict. Friends will be received from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at Noon Saturday. Pastor Linda Lacovic, officiating.
