Theresa (Hertzog) Suwinski

SUWINSKI, THERESA, 71, Northern Cambria, passed away April 21, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.  Born August 4, 1952, in Spangler, the daughter of Charles and Mable (Lamer) Hertzog.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Bernard “Bernie” Suwinski, who died April 10, 2020; and these siblings: Ellsworth, Raymond, Conrad, William, John, Howard, and Edward Hertzog, and Bernetta Fiasco.  Survived by siblings, Elmer Hertzog, Patton; Odessa Morris, Bakerton; Carolyn DeGraw, New York; Margaret Gauntner, Carrolltown, and Elizabeth Lazration, Emeigh. Also survived by her great-niece, Amber Rematt and Joe Corio Jr. and their children, Dylan, Paige and Hanah Hickok, Brynn and Alaina Corio; and niece, Sandy Hertzog and husband William Barnes, Clymer; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Formerly employed at the Ebensburg Center and Carino Nursery.  She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a social member of Carrolltown American Legion and Rembrandt Club, St. Benedict.   Theresa enjoyed gardening, walks in the woods and bingo.  She looked forward to attending the fair each year where she and Bernie listened to the bands and enjoyed all the events and exhibits.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria.
